2024 50th Annual MGNOC National Rally

About the Rally

With great excitement, the National Rally will be hosted by West Coast MGNOC Moto Guzzi Clubs: Washington, Oregon, California. Location is the Grant County Fairgrounds, John Day, Oregon. There will be great food, fantastic riding, plenty of entertainment options and Moto Guzzi camaraderie.

Rally Fees

$100 per person if paid before June 1 and $125 per person from June 1 to day of the event. Includes:

  • Thursday, Friday and Saturday night tent camping
  • Friday dinner, Saturday Breakfast & Saturday Dinner
  • Rally Pin for first 250 registrants
Registration

The organizing committee is in the process of setting up a website (with electronic payment processing) and Facebook group that will include more details, which we will also be sharing through the MGNOC newsletter.

About John Day

Located on US Highway 26, the town of John Day, population about 1,700, is very motorcycle friendly. It was the site of both the 2010 and 2016 Nationals. The city has has several motels, cafes, restaurants, taverns and gas stations, two hardware stores, a Napa, grocery store, pharmacy, municipal pool, hospital, Figaro's Pizza and Dairy Queen.

Nearby Attractions

Ride scenic Eastern Oregon and take in the dramatic contrasts of geological formations of the Painted Hills, Fossil Beds National Monument, Sumpter - an old gold mining town, OR Hwy 245 - a paved mountain road to rival Tail of the Dragon, Strawberry Mountain Wilderness, grass valleys, pine forests, high desert sagebrush and juniper covered slopes with mountain peaks in the distance. Canyon carve alongside the many streams and rivers through National Forests and Wilderness Areas.

Camping / RV

RV sites and early camping are also available through the fairgrounds for a reasonable fee.

  • 25 RV parking spots available on site
  • $35 per night full hookup 20/30/50 amps, includes room tax, restroom & shower facility
  • Pull-through sites. Pet friendly, sewer dump
  • RV's cannot be over 15 years old
  • Easy walk to restaurants, parks, banks, post office, and bars

NOTE: If booking accommodation online, the lodging and RV Park or other third party websites may indicate no availability. Call direct and ask for MGNOC rally availability as some has been set aside for the event and MAY still be available.
